Roomrs – Curated Co-Living for NYC

Roomrs delivers curated co-living in New York City, matching residents with fully furnished apartments, flexible lease options, and concierge-style onboarding. The platform unifies customer acquisition, resident lifecycle, and internal operations tooling so teams can scale inventory without sacrificing service.

Key Features

  • Inventory & Pricing Engine — Centralizes apartment data, furnishing packages, and dynamic pricing with live availability.
  • Resident Journey Automation — Guides applicants from discovery through lease signing, onboarding, and community programming.
  • Operations Control Center — Connects Strapi CMS, Zoho CRM, and internal tooling for marketing campaigns, tours, and support.
  • Embedded Analytics — Surfaces leasing velocity, occupancy, and retention metrics to inform expansion decisions.

Technology Stack

  • React & Next.js — Responsive resident experiences with server-side rendering.
  • TypeScript & Node.js — End-to-end type safety and modular APIs.
  • PostgreSQL — Authoritative source for inventory, leasing, and resident data.
  • Strapi CMS — Structured content models powering landing pages and resident comms.
  • Docker — Consistent build artifacts and reproducible local environments.
  • AWS (ECS, Fargate, S3, CloudFront) — Scalable, containerized deployments with CDN delivery.
  • Zoho Suite — CRM automations and pipeline tracking integrated into the platform.

My Contributions

  • Full-Stack Feature Delivery — Built resident booking flows, internal dashboards, and content-driven landing pages.
  • Platform Integrations — Unified data across Strapi, Zoho, and PostgreSQL with resilient synchronization jobs.
  • Deployment Automation — Containerized multiple applications and rolled out AWS ECS/Fargate pipelines with staging gates.
  • Operational Tooling — Implemented admin workflows for pricing updates, availability toggles, and resident onboarding tasks.

Why Roomrs Stands Out

✓ Curated living — experience tailored to NYC renters
✓ Unified tooling — that keeps marketing, sales, and operations aligned
✓ Cloud-native — architecture enabling rapid iteration and confident scaling
